VISUAL MERCHANDISING

Explore My Work

In my portfolio, you will find examples of some of the displays I have created for my classes and jobs. I have included a mix of both small and large-scale displays to showcase my range of skills. In addition, you can also check out my pinning project where I created a unique vision board to show how to style 1 item 3 different ways. Lastly, I have included some of the flat lays I have created for social media platforms. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work.

Pinning Project

My partner and I wanted to showcase how to style a simple white tank top different ways. We decided to add vinyl records to the bottom as a shoe shelf for a fun and different element. Each outfit is styled differently. From left to right: the first outfit we wanted to do a more business casual look, the second we wanted to do a super casual look with a 70's twist, and the last look we wanted to do something different that you may not have thought of, by adding the white tank top under the maxi dress. We added the belt for more structure and to add more color to the black and white look.

This project was not as easy as we had thought. It required many pins and a lot of patience. But, we had so much fun creating the looks and using different design elements like the records as a shoe shelf.

Tea at Tiffany's

My partner and I wanted to create something fun and different than other classmates were doing. I love Tiffany and Co. and wanted to display some of the pieces that I have in my collection. We decided to do a play on Breakfast at Tiffany's with what we created.

My partner had the vintage pearl dress and we were able to find the tea pot and tea cup with things we had around the building. The frames were also something what we also found laying around. The entire assignment was a collaboration between my love for Tiffany and my partner's love for vintage clothing.

Window Display Assignment

Displays Created on the Job

Working at a used clothing store you have to work with items that you have on hand. Many times when creating a display things wouldn't go my way and we didn't have what I wanted on hand. I had to problem solve and create the display without the item I wanted to use or full go in a different direction.
